FALL SABBATICAL!
Fall sabbatical plans: Write book two! Joi and I are contracted with Teachers College Press (thanks to Dr . Banks for his faith in us). The book, Understanding Anti-Blackness: A Primer for Educators, looks at myths about African American history and culture, with an eye on undoing common stereotypes, misunderstandings and outright lies. Written with educators in mind, we look forward to this next chapter in our work with practitioners.
